·       The ear candle are approximately 22cm long

·       Each candle has a burning time of 10 to 12 minutes

The ear candles are used by setting them alight, so care and precautions are necessary. We recommend that the treatment always be done by a second person. This will ensure personal protection during the application and enables deeper relaxation. Always place a glass of water within reach in order to extinguish the ear candle.

Do NOT use Ear Candles if you have:

·       A perforated eardrum

·       Tympanotomy tube implants

·       All kinds of inflammations of the ear

·       Skin diseases in and around the ear

·       Allergic reactions to the ingredients in the form of spontaneous itchiness have occasionally

HISTORY
Ear Candling has been around the centuries they were used more than five thousand years ago by ancient Egyptians who used reeds in this technique. The fact that Native Americans have also done earcandling, using cornhusks, dipping them in beeswax to make a hollow candle is to be debated. The process was also known in ancient India, Tibet and the Myan & Aztec cultures as part of their personal hygiene or religious ceremony.

RoTai Pain Relief Clinic

RoTai is the name given to this healing modality which is based on an Ancient Shaolin Healing art and self defence. It utilises our own body responses as an indication of our physical, emotional and mental health.

RoTai has evolved over many years in practice to incorporate many other forms of Holistic Body Work.

RoTai originally came from a Shaolin monk, who was a close friend of the father of one of our Australian Master (Sefu) Teachers. He passed the Shaolin noble art of healing and self defence to him and his family.
